Knowledge and performance are evaluated so gaps can be identified instead of assumed away.
Report monitoring
Daily and incident reports are reviewed for completeness, accuracy, escalation and professional writing.
Corrective coaching
When monitoring identifies a problem, supervisors provide direction, retraining or formal performance action as appropriate.
Progressive discipline
A defined ladder for correcting conduct and performance.
PSG uses progressive discipline where appropriate, while retaining the right to move directly to a more serious step when the facts, safety risk or misconduct justify it.
Reminder and education
A direct reminder of the expected standard, supported by explanation, coaching or retraining where a knowledge or performance gap exists.
Warning
Formal notice that the conduct or performance must improve.
Show cause notice
The employee is required to explain serious or repeated concerns before a decision is made.
Suspension
Removal from duties or schedule where warranted by the circumstances and applicable requirements.
Termination
Employment may end where correction fails or the conduct justifies termination, subject to applicable law.
Condominium uniform standard
Professional presentation is part of the service.
The formal condominium uniform consists of matching black dress trousers, waistcoat and blazer, a closed collar white button-down dress shirt, black tie and black dress shoes.
The approved PSG shield is worn on the left chest, the SECURITY patch beneath it and the nameplate on the right chest. Uniforms must be complete, clean, pressed and properly fitted.
